Raymond "Harry" Jesse, 67, died unexpectedly, Wednesday February 24, 2016 at Baptist Health Louisville hospital.
He was born January 21, 1949 in Shelby County, KY. After serving in Vietnam he was honorably discharged in 1975. He worked as an employee of GE, was a truck driver and retired after working as a dispatcher for Service Transport and Thornton Transportation.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Jane Jesse; step-father, Bill Hall; daughter, Lori Robinson; and granddaughter, Blake Colyer.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Jesse; children, Michelle Colyer (Joe), Jason Droddy, Rhonda Jesse, Sarah Droddy, Laura Jesse and Jimmy Jesse; grandchildren, Sean Colyer, Connor Robinson, Brandon Colyer, Ellie Robinson, McKenzie Jesse, Kaleb King, Sean Deakins Jr., Aniyah Jesse, Arianna Jesse, Chance Ried, Kobe Ray Karnes and Sophie Ferris; sisters, Paulette Dewitt (Doc), and Patricia Ann Dixon; and numerous nieces, nephews and loving friends.
His funeral is noon Monday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Rd, with burial at 2:30pm in Clarmont Gardens in Winchester, KY. Visitation is Noon-6pm Sunday and after 10:00am until the time of the service Monday.
Donations in memory of Harry can be made to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
