Wilma Jane (Ferris) Radford
October 24, 1942 - December 31, 2025

Wilma was born in Erie, Pennsylvania and moved to Louisville, Kentucky in 1954.  She retired after 25 years of service with JCPS as Food Service Manager at Dunn Elementary. She was a 1960 graduate of Fern Creek High School and an active member of Fern Creek United Methodist Church.

Her hobbies and favorite pass times included cooking, gardening, crocheting, sewing, and playing the piano and organ.  She was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her father, Francis(Garnet)Ferris; mother, Marjorie Ferris; son. Douglas Radford; and niece, Laura Woodcock.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 64 years, William Dale Radford; daughter, Debbie(Jeff) Branch; son, David Radford; daughter-in- law, Sherrie Radford; grandchildren, Derek (Jessica)Branch, Joshua Radford, Jacob Radford, Jared(McKenna)Branch; great grandson, Zayden Radford; brother, Allan (Margaret)Ferris; sister, Betsy (Bill)Watkins; brother-in-law, Ronnie (Karen)Radford; and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral is 3pm Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with private entombment.  Visitation is after 1pm until the time of the service.
