William "Bruce" Lenz, died Monday, May 22, 2023.

He was an Optician, Ocularist and owner of the old Lenz Optical. Bruce was a member of First Christian Church Shelbyville, the Society of Dispensing Optician of Kentucky, and 1967 graduate of Fern Creek High School.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Lenz; daughter, Tammie Mattingly (Mark); step-son, Matt Cecil; grandchildren, Brad Mattingly (Taylor), and Ashley Johnson (Jeff); step-grandchildren, Lauren, Jack and Devon Cecil; and great grandchildren, Gracie and Easton Mattingly, and Beau, Luke, and Ryker Johnson.

His funeral is 1:00pm Saturday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Rd., Louisville, KY, with burial in St Francis Cemetery, Loretto, KY. Visitation is after 10am until the time of the service.
