William Randall Gaddie, 88, died Sunday, January 5, 2025.

Bill worked as a supervisor for General Electric and retired after 38 years of service.  After retirement, he worked for Heib Concrete Products for another 20 years.  He formerly attended Beargrass Christian Church.  He loved gardening, vacationing with his family, fishing and camping.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Joyce Engleman; parents, Marvin Nelson and Mabel Florence Gaddie; and siblings, Harold, Don, Scotty, Harvey, Paul, Leslie, Betty Ray and Buck Gaddie.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Trent Gaddie; children, Karen Bobbitt (Jim), David Gaddie (Diana) and Terry Gaddie (Stephanie); stepdaughters, Teresa Jessie (Wendell) and Patty Campbell; grandchildren; and great grandchildren.

His funeral is 5pm Monday, January 13, 2025 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.  Visitation is after 1pm until the time of the service. Burial is private.
