Sid Anderson, 39, died Sunday, August 3, 2025 in Louisville, Kentucky.

He was born William Sidney Anderson, III, son of Bill and Karen Anderson.  Sid was a 2005 graduate of Seneca High School.  During a high school co-op and after graduation he enjoyed the time he worked for Eden Shale Nursery with John, Joe, and James.  Sid was a life long resident of Fern Creek and knew many people.  He was often seen riding his Ruckus scooter around the area, spreading the news of the day and catching up with the neighbors.  He was concerned with the environment and did his part to keep it clean.  He also maintained a meticulous collection of various items that interested him.

His grandmothers, Shirley Ciresi and Lucille Anderson preceded him in death.

In addition to his parents, Sid is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Kelly and Phillip Osborne; niece, Annalise Osborne; grandfather, William S. Anderson; aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation is 2-7pm Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.  Another visitation begins at 1pm Sunday, August 10, 2025 and concludes with a funeral service at 3pm.  Burial is private.
