Victoria Silberisen
Dwyer
December 21, 2023
Victoria (Silberisen) Dwyer, 75, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 21, 2023.
She was born in 1948 in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of Clarence and Mary Silberisen.
Vicki was a 1966 graduate of Assumption High School and a long-time member of St. Bernard Parish, remaining deeply committed to her Catholic faith, throughout her life. She was a former postal clerk and after retirement, she spent much of her time in the company of friends and family. Without a doubt, her greatest joy in life was her nine grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. She never failed to remember a birthday, or have a fun activity planned when they came to visit. She leaves behind a lasting legacy of putting family first, always.
Vicki is survived by her three children, Michael Dwyer (Kim), Sara Brown (Denny), and John Dwyer (Kelly); her sister, Carol Phillips (Jim), and her brother Jim Silberisen (Vikki); grandchildren, Kelsey Lomax (Joey), Kayleigh Tongberg, Spencer Brown, Grace Ray, Nicholas Brown, Mallory Brown, Graham Dwyer, Drew Dwyer, and Cohen Dwyer; and great grandchildren, Nora Lomax, Rosie Lomax, and Forrest LeBlanc-Ray.
Funeral mass is 10am Friday, December 29, 2023, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 7500 Tangelo Dr with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is 12-7pm Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Fern Creek Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Catholic Education Foundation.
