Tony L. Persello, 85, died Sunday, January 18, 2026.

He was born April 14, 1940 in Alliance, Ohio, son of Tony and Lily McGrath Persello.  Tony graduated from Sebring High School and worked in security at B & W Tubular Manufacturing.  He and his wife, Carol enjoyed participating in pre-1840 Living History Rendezvous in various parts of the country.  They have traveled to all fifty states.  Tony was a member of Union Christian Church in Hodgenville, Kentucky.

In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Chris Miller; sister, Wanda Teppert (Frank); and brother-in-law, George Schuller.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Carter Persello; children, Yvonne Persello, Michelle Miller and Tony L. Persello, Jr. (Brandi); grandchildren, Joshua Chester (Lindsey), Rebekah Shilling, Jeremiah Shilling and Carter Persello; great grandson, Jace Shilling; and sisters, Izetta Schuller and Peggy Tuttle (Gene).

A memorial service honoring Tony is 12pm Monday, February 16, 2026 at Union Christian Church, 970 Union Church Road, Hodgenville, KY  42748 with a meal following.  Visitation is after 11am until the time of the service.
