Tom Schubert, 77, died Saturday, November 29, 2025 in Louisville, Kentucky.

He was born Thomas Leonard Schubert on February 15, 1948, son of George and Dorothy Metts Schubert.  He was a graduate of DeSales High School. Tom was retired from maintenance at Jewish Hospital.  He was skilled at "fixing things" and was always happy to help others.  He enjoyed spending time with his family at the lake, the beach and visiting Gatlinburg.

Survivors include his devoted wife, Linda Smith Schubert; daughter, Denise Marie Gray (Randall); stepdaughter, Kimberly Mann (James); grandchildren, Lennon Hoffmann, Braden Mann and Brody Mann; and sister, Jerry Schreiner (Stan).

A memorial service celebrating his life is 6pm Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.  Visitation is after 4pm until the time of the service.
