Thomas Edward Coakley, 75, died Thursday, February 22, 2024.

He was born April 19, 1948, son of Thomas C. and Mary Grace Baines Coakley.

Thomas worked in concrete construction.  He was a 1967 graduate of Seneca High School and since 1989 has been a faithful volunteer for Habitat for Humanity of Metro Louisville.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his brother, David L. Coakley.

He is survived by his wife, the former Caryn Lynn Watson; daughter, Linda Coakley Higdon (Kevin); sister, Patsy Davis (Doug); in-laws; nieces; and nephews.

His funeral is 10am Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with private burial.  Visitation is 2-8pm Tuesday, February 27, 2024.
