Ted Cleary, 89, died Thursday, April 20, 2023.

He was born Theodore Andrew Cleary on October 21, 1933, a son of John Charles and Agnes Hofelich Cleary.

Ted was a retired USPS Mail Carrier, an Army Veteran and member of St. Edward Catholic Church.

In addition to his parents, Ted was preceded in death by his first wife, Sandra; second wife, Margaret; daughter, Colleen; and siblings, A.J., Bill, Charles, Patsy, Roseanna, Christine, and Nick.

He is survived by children, Debra Thomas, Daryl Cleary (Maria), Pamela Abbott  and Sheila Cleary (Lisa); grandchildren, Vincent Cleary and Johanna Thomas; great grandchildren, Isaiah and Uryhia Cleary; brother, Joe Cleary (Marie); and nieces and nephews.

Funeral mass is 10am Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at St. Edward Catholic Church, 9608 Sue Helen Drive with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation is 3-7pm Monday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.
