Thelma Parris, 96, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2022.

She loved God, her family, friends, and especially the many children she cared for over the years.

A glorious reunion was held at her arrival in Heaven with her parents, Alex and Irene Girdley; husband, Carl, daughter, Diana Willis (Greg); sister, Margie Hoover (Alvin); and a host of family and friends to greet her.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl; grandchildren, Brian Parris, Sheri Willis (Chris Arrieta), Hannah Boyd (David); and great grandchildren, Luca, Cora and Gray.

Her funeral is 1pm Monday, April 25, 2022 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with private burial.  Visitation is after  11am that morning until the time of the service.
