Sherry Klein, 77, passed away Monday, May 1, 2023.

She was born August 20, 1945, daughter of Randall and Charlesetta Hardy Hendricks.  Sherry worked for Sullivan University for over 30 years as Co-Director of Housing, Employment Specialist, and retired as Director of Graduate Employment Services.  She liked to travel and her work for the National Center for Hospitality Studies enabled her to visit many interesting places while exploring career opportunities for her students.  Sherry loved her students like family.  She was open and welcoming and was frequently a "Mom" to a young person who asked for her advice or just wanted to be with someone who cared.

In addition to her parents, Sherry was preceded in death by brothers, Donnie, Charlie and Chester Hendricks; and sisters, Dorothy Wathen, JoAnn Holthouser, Joyce Tomlinson and Carol Dunn.

She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 50 years, Jim; sons, Scott and Jay; granddaughter, Addi; and sister, Annie Baum (Mike); and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation is 11am – 7pm, Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.
