Sherry N. Harris, 83, died Saturday, April 29, 2023.

She was born August 11, 1939, daughter of Clifford Porritt and Ruth Craddock Rock.  Sherry was an executive assistant for the old Belknap Hardware Company and later for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and finally retiring from The Spina Bifida Association.  She was a member of Hikes Point Christian Church and enjoyed roller skating and square dancing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Harris; and son, Terry Harris.

Survivors include her daughters, Robin Caine (Tim) and Lisa Prater (Greg); grandchildren, Stephanie Hunt (Mike), Heather Prater and Sarah Caine; great grandchildren, Gregory, Zachary, Lucy, Olyvia and Elias; brother, Joe Porritt; sister Alana Harris (Gary); cousin and best friend, Janice Blair (Sonny).

Her funeral is 1pm Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park.  Visitation is 2-7pm Wednesday, May 3, 2023 and after 12pm Thursday until the time of the service.
