Sarah Norene Cox, 89, went home to Jesus her Lord and Savior, Monday, August 15, 2022.

She was born to the late Alfred and Mamie Keltner on April 26, 1933 in Green County, Kentucky.

She was a homemaker and caregiver to many family members, and member of Southeast Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Cox; son, James E. Cox; twin sister, Mary Josephine Arndt; and granddaughters, Kathy Cox and Kerry Brown.

She is survived by her son, Allen Cox; daughter, Betty Sue Brown (Kenney); grandchildren, Gina Housley (Ernie), Pam Clayburn, Mikey Cox, Cristal Bensel (Josh), Allen Cox (Wilma), James Cox (Paola), James Barrett Cox (Rachel), Brittany Cox, and Kenney Brown III (Kelly); great grandchildren, Amanda Long (Nathan), Corey Housley, Alyssa Housley, Clarissa Hart (Chad), Eric Clayburn, Jody Cox, Jessica Lynch, Anthony Grigsby, Amber Jackson (Dylan), Michael Cox, Jr., Josie Bensel, Laynie Cox, Peyton Knox, Cameron Brown, Cole Brown, Mia Brown; Great Great Grandchildren and host of extended family and friends.

Her funeral is 1pm Friday at Southeast Christian Church- Chapel in the Woods, 1407 Moser Rd, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation begins at 11am until the time of the service.
