Sang Young Lee, 88, died Wednesday, November 9, 2022.

He was former plant manager of Sam Young Plastics in Korea.  After immigrating to the United States, Sang owned and operated Dixie Oriental Grocery for 20 years.  In retirement, he worked for Meijer's for another 20 years.  Sang was a deacon and member of First Korean Baptist Church of Louisville.

He is survived by his wife, Byung Kong Lee; children, James Lee (Shelia), Becky Kim (Sorim) and Lisa Jung (Daniel); and grandchildren, Kaitlyn Lee and Brandon and Jonathan Jung.

His memorial service is 5pm Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.  Visitation with his family is after 1pm Saturday until the time of the service.
