Samuel Abraham Schwartsman, 79, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

Born on September 25, 1946, in Kharkiv, Ukraine, Samuel built a skilled career in photo restoration and coloration, a craft he practiced with dedication for many years. After courageously immigrating to the United States to build a new life for his family, he worked as a professional chauffeur.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Samuel cherished time with his loved ones. He also enjoyed exploring his computer and staying connected to the culture of his homeland through its television programs.

Samuel is survived by his beloved wife, Valentina Volkova Schwartsman; his children, Andrei Volkov (Anna), Dmitry Schwartsman, and Irina Bassett (Evan); his grandchildren, Ciara Volkov, Alexis Hofelich, Alek Johnson, and Santon Johnson; and his great-grandchildren, Violet and Raven Johnson.
