Ruthe Chambers Lusk, 90, died Friday, October 3, 2025.

She was a retired teacher, spending most of her career at Fern Creek High School.  She was a graduate of Fern Creek High School, the old Kentucky Southern College and earned a master's degree in education for the University of Louisville.  She was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church, where for many years, she served as pianist and organist.  She was also a member of the Fern Creek High School Hall of Fame.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Lusk; son, Rob H. Lusk; and son-in-law, Jim Tully.

She is survived by her children, Reid C. Lusk (Judy) and Rhonda Tully; grandchildren, Alexandria Lusk, Gabrielle Lusk and John Tully (Carleigh); and great grandchildren, Amauria Johnson and Anastasia Beaven and one more on the way!

Her funeral is 1pm Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.  Visitation is after 10am Thursday until the time of the service.
