Ruth Kathleen Whitworth passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at her home. She was born December 26, 1938 in Louisville, KY to the late M. Crawford Whitworth and Ada Beckhart Whitworth.

She graduated from Manuel High School and attended Fort Wayne Bible College and Bryan-Stratton Business College. She was a member of First Alliance Church for many years and more recently a member of Bethany Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and played the piano for the Wednesday evening prayer service.

She is survived by her brother, Dr. Albin C. Whitworth of Prospect; nephews, Mark Hamilton Whitworth (Tyanne) of Nicholasville, KY, and Stephen Kent Whitworth (Sarah) of White Bear Lake, MN; two great nephews; and two great nieces.

Her memorial service is at 2pm Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Bethany Baptist Church.
