Ruth Krill Meredith "Maw" (69) passed away on September 29, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. She was born on August 25, 1956 in Gray, Kentucky and spent most of her life in Louisville, Kentucky.

Ruth enjoyed cashing out her big tickets at Derby City Gaming.  When she was not playing the slots, she truly loved spending time with her family, neighbors and her cats (the kids). Although Ruth was known to be tenacious and feisty, she was selfless and kind beyond measure.  She spent her entire life surrounded by and caring for her family.

Ruth was preceded in death by her father, Clayton Blankenship; mother, Katie Blankenship; first husband of 25 years, Kenneth Robert Krill; and second husband of 21 years, William "Billy" Kent Meredith.

She is survived by her daughters, Bobbie Jo Logsdon (Martin Stamper), Kathleen Krill (Mickey Loughlin); her grandson and heartbeat, Kenneth "Cody" Krill (Caterina Wulf); step grandson, Andrew Logsdon (Savannah); step great-grandson, Riot Fisher; her sisters, Janice Oliver (Tracy Priest) and Kat Krill; as well as nieces, nephews and extended family.

Services will be conducted at Fern Creek Funeral Home 5406 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40291.

Visitation will be Monday October 6, 2025 3pm-7pm and a memorial service will take place on Tuesday October 7, 2025 at 2pm. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
