Ruth Evelyn Johnson, 90, died Sunday, March 3, 2024

She was born September 6, 1933 in Nashville, Tennessee, daughter of Edward and Odell Ensey Payne.  Ruth loved spending time with her family, especially shopping and dining.  She enjoyed planning flower pot designs and traveling with her love of 25 years, Gary Ingraham.

She is survived by her children, Vernon Johnson, Jr., and Steven Johnson (Lisa) and Melody Hall (Glenn); grandchildren, Jason (Shelly), Kristopher (Heather) and Kristin Johnson and Erika Walker and Cody Hall; and great-grandchildren, Ashley, Lauryn, Landon, River, Sequoia, and Camille.

Visitation is 2-7pm Friday, March 8, 2024 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road including a short devotional service at 6:30pm.  Private entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park.
