Ruth Tyler Frey of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on March 30, 2021.
Ruth was born December 18, 1925 to the late Leonard H. and Mary S. Tyler of Jefferson County, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin W. Frey; and friend, Stephen Guthrie.
She is survived by her sister, Evalena Tyler Tobaben; and James Dickman who, with Stephen, provided her with friendship and support during the last two decades of her life.
Ruth was a Christian and lived her faith by contributing generously to organizations that benefitted children and those in need. The United States of America was dear to her heart and she always kept the well-being of her country in her thoughts and prayers.
Ruth enjoyed many travel adventures during her life and treasured them all. She especially enjoyed learning to play the piano in her senior years and shared her newly realized talent with others.
