Obituary

Roger Edward Bischoff of Louisville, passed away peacefully at Louisville East Post Acute Nursing Home on Wednesday on July 24, 2024 He was born November 12, 1941 in Louisville, Ky. He was a retired foreman from Ford Motor Company. Roger also owned Bischoff Building and his own lawn care business.

Roger was proceeded in death by his loving wife, Suanna Bischoff, formerly Suanna Wohner; parents, Albert and Nina Bischoff; and brother, David (Cotton) Bischoff.

He is survived by his sons, Ronald Bischoff (Kimberly), Robert Bischoff and Christopher Bischoff; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; siblings, Mary Ellen Buehler (Mike), Larry Bischoff (Mauritia) and Virginia Buehler (Gary); and several nieces and nephews.

He was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church. Roger was also a member of Fairdale Masonic Lodge for over 60 years and a past master. He served in the Army National Guard. Roger loved golf, he was a caddie for the Audubon Country Club from the age of twelve and began golfing himself at that time.  After that he became an assistant pro at Audubon and later part time assistant greens keeper at Audubon for over 20 years.

Visitation will be held Saturday July 27, 2024 from 1-7pm with masonic rites at 6pm at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road Louisville, KY 40291. Funeral Service will be Sunday July 28, 2024 at 3pm with military honors.
