Robert Michael Pope, 71, died Monday, February 14, 2022.

He was born September 10, 1950, son of Robert and Jeanette Thompson Pope.  He worked as a financial advisor, was a 1968 graduate of Fern Creek High School and attended Western Kentucky University.  He was a long-time member of the YMCA, where he especially enjoyed playing racquetball.  He also enjoyed boating and skiing at Lake Cumberland and visiting Siesta Key, FL.

Survivors include sisters, Amy Priep (Corky) and Robin Schmitt; nephews, Tim (Melissa) and Josh Schmitt; and grandnephew, Andrew Schmitt.
