Robert Lee Marks, 90, died Monday, March 25, 2024.

Robert was born November 23, 1933 in Primrose, Kentucky, son of Richard and Frances Thompson Marks.

He was a retired Master Sergeant, U.S. Air Force.  Robert first served for two years with the U.S. Navy in the Korean War.  He served the next 24 years with the U. S. Air Force; serving in Germany, England, and Thailand.  He also retired from the fuel farm at Louisville International Airport and was a member of Radiant Life Church.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his son, Robert L. Marks, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, the former Jennifer White; children, Lindsay Marks and Nicola Miles-Smith; grandchildren, Chris Miles, Justin Smith and Alexandra Smith; and brother, Wilton Marks; and many nieces and nephews.

Robert and Jennifer loved to travel, adventuring to; Hawaii, England, Greece, Alaska, and several trips out West. The National Parks and Monuments were always a highlight of any trip.

His funeral service is 1pm Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road. Visitation is after 11am until the time of the service.
