Robert E. "Bob" Hester, 91, died Saturday, October 1, 2022.

He was a vocational education teacher and retired from PRP High School. Bob was a member of Fern Creek Baptist Church and never met a stranger.  He enjoyed traveling the country in his motorhome, telling stories and spending time with his family.  His hobbies included woodworking and watching UofL Cardinal sports.

Bob is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dorothy "Dot" Devasher Hester; sons, Mark (Normanda Caldwell) and Todd (Sam) Hester; and grandchildren, Blake, Bryce and Skylar Hester.

His funeral is 2pm Thursday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.  Visitation is 2-8pm Wednesday.
