Robert J. Bezick, 94, of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Born on December 25, 1930, in Hazleton, PA, he was the son of Joseph and Stella Osoki Bezick.
A proud veteran, Robert served as a master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army. After his military career, he dedicated many years to Whitehall Pharmaceutical in New Jersey before retiring. He was a member of Summit Heights Methodist Church.
Robert was a passionate fisherman, finding his greatest joy while surf fishing in the Outer Banks near Cape Hatteras, NC. For over 25 years, he participated in numerous fishing tournaments. Additionally, he was an enthusiastic deer hunter and taxidermist based in Hammonton, NJ.
Robert is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Theresia Brunig Bezick, and his son, Robert Bezick Jr. He was predeceased by his son, Michael Bezick. Robert leaves behind a legacy of seven grandchildren: Michael Bezick Jr., Joseph Bezick, Robert Bezick, Stephanie Bezick, Brittany Hamel, Brooke Walks, and Dustin Bezick, as well as ten great-grandchildren.
Robert will be remembered for his perseverance, sharp wit, and dedication to serving his country.

Funeral service is 12pm Monday, January 27, 2025 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with private burial.  Visitation is after 11am until the time of the service.
