Richard Brown, 85, died Wednesday, December 15, 2022.

He was born April 6, 1937 in Lena, WI, son of John and Charlotte Longrie Brown.

Richard was a retired U.S. Postal Service letter carrier, an Army veteran, and a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church.

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia; and son, Patrick.  He is survived by children, Michael Brown (Lila), Kellye Brown (Chuck), and Timothy Brown (Zina); grandchildren, Alex Brown, Sarah Mattson, Andrew Brown and Katie Van Steen; 10 great grandchildren; and sister, Donna Zajd.

Memorial visitation is a 9am Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road followed by a memorial mass at 1pm at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 2040 Buechel Bank Road.
