THOMPSON, RAYMOND J.,

88, died Wednesday, December 21, 2016.

He was a native of Erie, PA, retired from General Electric and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Helen L. Thompson; children, Dr. James M. Thompson (Andrea), Sarb Sarang Kaur Khalsa (Harimandar), Jan Brauner (Jerry), Paul Thompson (Mary), Donald Thompson, David Thompson (Alexandra) and William Thompson (Suzanne); 21 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and siblings, Janet Langham (Sam), George Thompson (Lil), Pat Thompson and Mike Thompson.

Funeral mass is 10am Saturday at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 5505 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation is 3-7pm Friday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.
