Raymond (Ray) Clyde Glass, 91, of Louisville, passed away November 30, 2024, son of the late W. Clyde and Virginia B. Glass.

Ray graduated from Louisville Male High School and University of Louisville business school. He retired as President of V.C. Glass Carpet Company and Merchants Ice and Cold storage and Artic Ice Companies. He served on boards: AAA Kentucky, Resthaven Cemetery, Louisville Deaf Oral School advisory board, Wildwood Country Club and Salvation Army advisory board.

He is preceded in death by his infant son Gordon Ray Glass; and the love of his life, Elizabeth (Betty) S. Glass.

He is survived by his daughters, Gail G. Moore (Bill), Jenny G. Harker and her partner, Mike Gilliland; granddaughters, Alyssa H. Pollard (James), Katie E. Warford (Brandon); great granddaughters, Madalyn Rae Pollard, Mallori Warford; and great grandsons, Gavin T. Pollard and Laine Warford.

Memorial Service will be held at 5:30pm, Thursday December 12 at Fern Creek Funeral Home. Visitation is after 2pm until the time of the service. Ashes to be interred at Resthaven Memorial Park.
