Obituary

Ralph A. Aldridge, 64, died Thursday, April 10, 2025.

He was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School as well as a graduate of the old RETS College as an Electrical Engineer.  Ralph loved to tinker and fix old radios and anything electrical.  As a child some of his family's earliest memories are of him taking apart household appliances and putting them back together.  Ralph was a life long, avid musician.  His love for music and instruments came from his father.  He collected and played multiple instruments and was a member of Jake & Elwood and the Boys band.

He was a member of Poplar Level Baptist Church as well as a member of the Choir.  He taught Children's Sunday School Class and used his musical experience to teach Bible verse songs and amuse the kiddos.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald C. and Lillian Joyce Kaufman Aldridge; and siblings, Scott and Kelley Jean Aldridge.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ginny Goodman Aldridge; brother, Mark Aldridge (Kelly), nephew Wesley Aldridge, niece Kenna Aldridge and numerous close cousins.  The family would like to extend a special Thank you to his beloved Aunt Pauline Kaufman Seigel and Cousin Carole Stillwell Baumgardner.

Visitation is 1-7pm Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40291. His funeral is 11am Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Poplar Level Baptist Church, 14302 Poplar Lane, Louisville, Kentucky 40299.
