Phillip Wayne Tyler, age 72, died Friday, January 12, 2024, at Signature HealthCare of Spencer Co.

in Taylorsville, Ky., where he was a resident for twelve years.  He was born February 16, 1951, in Louisville, Ky., son of Curtis Allen and Virginia Elizabeth LaMaster Tyler.

He worked in a variety of positions, but primarily as a farm hand in the equine industry.  He was a 1969 graduate of Fern Creek High School in Jefferson Co., Ky., and a member of Kings Baptist Church in Bullitt Co., Ky.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gerald Allen Tyler.  He is survived by brothers, Michael Allen Tyler (friend Hazel), Dennis Earl (Connie) Tyler, Marion Lee Tyler and James Timothy (Tammy) Tyler; nieces Katherine "Katie" Elizabeth Tyler and Emily Susan (Matthew) Thompson; nephew Jacob Timothy Tyler; and step-niece, Ashley Marie Bosma.

Cemetery Service at 2:30 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2024, in the chapel at Highland Memory Gardens, Mt. Washington, Bullitt Co., Ky., with burial to follow at 3:00 p.m.
