Philip Lowry Wallace, 74, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, December 9, 2022.  Philip was born on October 18, 1948 and was a graduate of the University of Kentucky.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Lula Wallace and his brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Joann Wallace.  He is survived by his sister, Peggy Kelly (David); nieces, Elizabeth Harlow, Debra Matthews, and Katherine Norris (John); and many life-long friends.

Philip was a member of the United States Army from March 1969 to January 1973.  He retired from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and was a big sports fan.  He was a great history buff and enjoyed reading from his library of over 1,000 books.

There will be a memorial visitation on Sunday, December 18, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Fern Creek Funeral Home.  Philip was cremated and will be interred at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky.
