Paula Martel Whalin 79, of Louisville, Ky, died Thursday, August 18, 2022.

Paula was a loving wife, mother, Mimi, sister, aunt & wonderful friend to many.

Paula Carole Martel was born February 25, 1943 in New Albany, Indiana to Paul & Betty Martel.

Paula was a devoted wife for 53 years to her best friend, Jerry Whalin who graduated from PRP & WKU. Paula & Jerry met where they worked at Faucet Printing Company.

She is survived by her husband Jerry Whalin, daughters Kristen Hellmann (Mike), Keri Duncan (Keith), brother Mike (Debby) & four beautiful grandchildren Evan Hellmann, Avery Hellmann, Peyton Duncan & Cooper Duncan who she loved more than anything.

She also cherished the lake life & her greatest joy was spending time on her houseboat on DHL surrounded by her family & friends.

Memorial visitation is 3-7:00pm Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Fern Creek Funeral Home 5406 Bardstown Road.
