Paula Jean Holt (PJ), born on July 31, 1944, passed away on January 19, 2024, at the age of 79. She was an extraordinary woman whose life was defined by her unwavering faith in Jesus and her love for her family, friends, and her church.

PJ's faith was a guiding light in her life, and she fearlessly shared her beliefs with those around her, inspiring others with her deep spirituality. Her devotion to Jesus and Savior was a testament to the strength of her character.

She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Nicole Bish (Kevin); along with three adoring grandchildren, Sadie Amick (Landry), Sophie, and Spencer. Also survived by her brother, Ron Curry (Cynthia); nephew, Sean (Heidi); niece, Shannon Kendall (Ryan); cousin, Mike Moore (Leni); and numerous great nieces and nephews.

PJ's love for her family was boundless, and she cherished every moment spent with them, creating life-long memories that will be treasured forever. PJ was not only a devoted mother and Grammie but also a loyal friend and sister to Barbara Vicars. Their friendship was a source of joy, support, and strength which is a testament to the lasting bonds PJ formed throughout her life with all her friends she held so closely to her heart and even those she just met. People were seen, heard, and known in her presence and made to feel special, both friends and strangers. PJ was truly a light to those around her and all that knew her knew Jesus.

PJ's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her legacy of faith, love, and generosity will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those she touched. She loved watching and feeding the birds, shopping for gifts that would make someone feel special, praising Jesus with her tambourine and spending as much time with family and friends.

A Celebration of Life service for PJ will be held at Kingdom Glory House located at 1219 Cooper Avenue, Louisville, KY 40219 on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 1:00 pm. All family and friends are welcome to come and celebrate PJ's life and legacy.
