Born on May 11, 1970 in Louisville, Kentucky, Paul Anthony Callahan, 56, died Monday, September 14, 2026. He was a 1989 graduate of Doss High School and went on to work as a chemical reactor operator both at Hexion and Interpolymer for over 20 years.

Paul was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and a giant fan of sports. He was an incredible father, son, brother, friend and a loving uncle to his nephews. Paul was a person that never met a stranger, he knew and loved everyone and had a genuine love for life that will never be forgotten by the people who have met him whether it was for years or mere minutes. He will be incredibly missed by everyone that knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Pete Callahan; and son, Cameron Callahan. He is survived by his daughters, Alexis Callahan and Joyce Hogan (Ryan), their mother, Marcy Callahan; his mother, Charlene Satterly; grandchildren, Brynlee Hogan, Cameron Callahan Jr. and Asher Callahan; and siblings, Scott Callahan (Melody), Brian Callahan (Amanda), and Deseray Smith as well as his several nieces and nephews.

His funeral is 1:30 on Saturday, September 19 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Rd with burial in Penn Run Memorial Park. Visitation is after 10am until the time of the service.
