Norma Jean "Jeanie Hood" Bradley was born in Louisville, KY on July 11,1941. She passed peacefully on Thursday, August 25, 2022.

Jeanie was a loving mother and homemaker and enjoyed making desserts for her family and friends. She worked for the Jefferson County Teachers association as a Teacher's Aide and at Sears in the hardware department. She loved to watch westerns and movies with horses and enjoyed singing along to music. Jeanie led her neighborhood watch in her area and enjoyed taking care of her family, neighbors, and friends. She was a member of Minors Lane Baptist Church.

Jeanie was predeceased in death by her husband, Eugene Bradley. She is survived by her brother, Dallas "Buck" Hood "Junior" and his wife, Margie. She is survived by her loving daughter, Theresa Norris and her husband, David and their three children. She is also survived by her loving son, Tim Bradley and his wife, Sandy and their two children. She has five grandchildren, David Norris, Jr., Bradley Norris, Brittany (Norris) Horne, Devin Bradley, and Cailyn Bradley. She had four great-grandchildren Jaxson, Harper, Hunter, and Bennett. She has many nieces and nephews that loved her Tammy, Phil, Marty and Mark and a special cousin, Judy Burton.

A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Monday, August 29 at 10:00am, at Fern Creek Funeral Home 5406 Bardstown Rd. The burial will be at Pennsylvania Run Cemetery, 8405 Pennsylvania Run Road. Her visitation is 1:00-5:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.
