Nettie Pearl (Marcum) Leathers went to her Heavenly home on Sunday, March 26, 2023.

She was born on November 18, 1925 and is the widow of Jesse Robert Leathers.

Nettie worked at Remington Rand Typewriters, General Electric, and retired after 27 years with Jefferson County Public Schools as Library Aide and Bookkeeper at Fern Creek High School. She was a longtime member of Southeast Christian Church and the Fern Creek High School Alumni Association.

Nettie loved gardening, cooking, sewing and crochet but she loved taking care of and doing for her family the most.

Nettie leaves behind to cherish her memory a son, Jim (Judy); grandson, Scott; sister, Juanita Giltner; and niece, Tammy Skinner.

Her funeral is 1pm Friday, March 31, 2023 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with entombment in Resthaven Mausoleum.  Visitation is after 10am until the time of the service.
