Neal Allen Tingle, 62, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, February 22, 2024.

He was born January 18, 1962 in Madison, Indiana, son of Evan James Tingle and Betty Faye Taylor Dean.  Neal was a retired manager for Sherwin - Williams Paint Company where he worked since 1989.  He was a member of Fern Creek Baptist Church where he was an ordained deacon, beloved Sunday School teacher , and current leader of the Men's Ministry and Wednesday evening worship leader. He served on various committees at the church, attended mission trips to Honduras, previously sang in the choir and was an ever present volunteer at many church events.  Neal earned an Eagle Scout Award and served as  a scoutmaster for Scout Troop 875 and later as a liaison to several troops.  He volunteered at the voting polls at most every election and was a foster parent to dozens of children.

In addition to his parents, Neal was preceded in death by his brother, Jason Dean; and son, Wesley Means, Jr.

He is survived by children, Amanda Morgan (Jacob Miller), Andrew M. Tingle, Curt A. Allen and Reamus P. Gatewood; grandchildren, Trinity Tingle, Jameson MIller and Cameron Miller; and siblings, Mike Tingle, Steve Dean and Jessica Veech.

His funeral is 11am Friday, March 1, 2024 at Fern Creek Baptist Church, 5920 Bardstown Road.  Visitation is 3-7pm Thursday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road and after 10am Friday until the time of the service at the church.
