Naoma Florence Whitehouse-Lynch-Shepperson

Naoma Shepperson (Granny) passed away peacefully and surrounded by family at the age of 92 on Monday June 16, 2025. She was born February 21, 1933 to the late Frank and Hallie Milburn-Whitehouse in Gravel Switch, KY.

She is survived by her children, Danny Lynch (Sherie), Joey Lynch (Sylvia), Patricia Bond (Rick Nichols), Thomas Shepperson (Teresa), Betty Reynolds, and Phyllis Higgins; brother, Tom Whitehouse; 18 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and daughter in law, Sharon Lynch.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Hallie Milburn-Whitehouse; sisters, Lucile McCarty and Ann Sullivan; son, William Cliffton Lynch JR (Bill); grandson, Joshua Michael Lynch; and husbands, Cliffton Lynch (1977) and Earl Shepperson (2016).

Naoma was passionate about her family, watching the game show network, home cooked country meals, and eating her watermelon daily with salt. She worked at Jane and Linda Sportswear in Lebanon, KY making Bobbi Brooks clothing and went on to retire from GE Appliance Park in 1982.

Visitation will be held from 3-5 PM and be followed by a short service on Friday, June 20, 2025 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY.
