Mildred Pearl Brooking, 84, died Monday, April 1, 2024.

Millie was born February 23, 1940 in Clermont County, Ohio, daughter of John Edward and Nellie Pearl Proud Brooking.  She worked as a sales associate in a variety of retail outlets and was a member of Farmdale Church of the Nazarene.

In addition to her parents, Millie was preceded in death by her brothers, Howard (Sandy) and George Brooking.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Alice Brooking; niece and nephews that were her "children-in-heart", Traci Vergara (Antonio), Rusty (Lisa), John, Jeff, Doug, Kevin (Jennifer), Barry (Pamela) and Rex (Sandy) Brooking; and many great nieces and nephews.

Her funeral is 3pm Monday, April 8, 2024 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with private burial.  Visitation is after 11am Monday until the time of the service.
