Mickey Holliger, 94, died Monday, May 4, 2026.

She was born Maconna Lee Roman on November 2, 1931 in Louisville, Kentucky, daughter of Roy Lee and Clara Margaret Stout Roman.

Mickey was a retired claims adjuster for Preferred Risk Insurance Group and a 1950 graduate of Fern Creek High School.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Holliger; brother, Gary Roman; and brother-in-law, Rolaph Whelchel.

Survivors include her daughters, Kim Ellis (Daniel) and Susie Hall (Kurt); grandchildren, Michael Yocom, Shawn Ellis (Dominique), Stephanie Danielle Klare, Kyle Hall (Laura) and Natalie Payne (Jonathan); many great grandchildren; and siblings, Shirley Whelchel and Buddy Roman (Linda).

Visitation is 3-8pm Thursday, May 7, 2026 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky. Private burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.
