After a heroic battle with esophageal and liver cancer, Michael D. Howard, of Louisville, KY, died Friday, February 10, 2023 at the age of 51.

He worked for Conagra Brands for 16 years.

Michael was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and son - a kind friend to all who knew him and will be greatly missed for his caring character, quick wit, and passion for fixing just about anything.

He was preceded in death by his father, Huey Howard.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Saffer Howard; children, Meagan Newton (Jack Guttermuth) and Morgan Simpson; mother, Judy Moore Howard; brother, Matthew Howard (Angie); and nephew, Dylan Howard (Ashley Napier).

Visitation is 3-7pm Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.
