Michael Louis Dant, 75, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 16, 2023.

Mike was a member of St. Martha Catholic Church and a retired JCPS teacher with his most recent tenure at Southern High School.

Mike was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Conliffe Dant,; children, Kevin Dant and Heather Dant; and parents, Mary Jo and Joe Dant.

Survivors include his stepsons, Jason Morris and Brandon Finney; step grandchildren, Kelsey Morris and Chase Morris (Elizabeth); siblings, Michelle Thompson (Louie), Kenny Dant (Cabrina) and Brenda Hodge (Lavon); and his pride and joy, his shih-tzu, Lola.

To honor Mike's wishes there will be no funeral services, with cremation arrangements entrusted to Fern Creek Funeral Home.  Those wishing to remember Mike may make a donation to Hosparus Health Louisville Area.
