Merry Melanie Collins, 69, died Monday, February 26, 2024.

She was retired financial operations manager for the Jefferson County Clerk's Office and member of Southeast Christian Church-Crestwood.

Melanie was preceded in death by her parents, R.K. and Hazel Smith Moredock; and siblings, Janet Taylor, Linda Mischel and Roberta Johnson.

She is survived by her husband, Richard A. Collins; daughter, Charity Lorene Johnson Arnold (David); grandchildren, Robert Prentice, Jade Zeck and Christopher Morris, Jr.; great grandchildren, Carter, Cooper, Elena and Tatum Zeck; and siblings, Sharon Peterson, Leonard Smallwood and Brenda May.

Memorial service is 10am Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.
