Maxine Sublett, 102, died Friday, October 3, 2025.

She was born January 29, 1923 in Ohio County, Kentucky, daughter of Dewey and Emma House Embry.

Maxine was a member of Southeast Christian Church and a former member of the old Kentucky Avenue Church of Christ.

Her husband, Kenneth Lee Sublett preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Kenny Wayne Sublett (Karen), Gary Sublett (Mizue), Deborah Claypool (Doug) and Marsha Schott (Garnett); grandchildren, Brooke Faulkner (John) and Michael Dahl (Suzannah); five great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.  In addition, Maxine is survived by special niece, Sandra English; nephews, Jerry Ray Nichols and Larry Tompkins; and cousin, Joey Dean Stinson.

Her funeral service is at 2pm Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with private burial. Visitation is after 11am until the time of the service.
