With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Matthew Lee Meyers on June 6th, 2026 in Louisville, Kentucky.

He was an electrician by trade and belonged to the local union.

He was born on November 18th, 1983 in DeLand, Florida, a son of Nevin and Donna Schoppert Meyers.

He is survived by Daughter Elianna L Richards. he is also survived by brother Jason Meyers, Grandmothers; Linda Amorosa and Vera Meyers, Aunts; Christine Meyers Pigg (Marvin), Cathy Meyers Ryder, Cindy Schoppert and Uncle: David Schoppert (Blyss). In addition Matthew is remembered by his many cousin and extended family members and friends who will deeply miss him.

Memorial service will be held Saturday June 13th, 2026 at 1:00pm at Fourth Presbyterian Church 3016 Preston Hwy, Louisville, Kentucky 40217.
