Mary Lou Walker passed away at home with family on Wednesday December 31, 2025.

She was a proud mother, wife, sister and friend. Born in Bloomfield and settled in Fern Creek, she became an expert in antiquing, reading nonfiction, gardening and adoring animals.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David A Walker Sr., sons David A. Walker Jr. and Jeffrey Walker, parents Ernest and Margaret Runner, siblings William, Ernest James, Paul Runner, and Betty Yokum and grandchildren Sherry Ann and Jeremy Mathus.

She is survived by her daughter Susan and sons Eddie and Marx, 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

Arrangements at Fern Creek Funeral Home,5406 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky, Wednesday January 7, 2026. Visitation is 1-6pm with services immediately after.
