Mary Frances Truitt, 91, died Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at her home.

She was born June 28, 1931 in Crittenden County, Kentucky, daughter of George and Virginia Webb Jennings.

Mary and her late husband, Ollie were founding members of Fern Creek Christian Church.  She served in many capacities for the church but especially noteworthy are her years teaching Sunday school.

Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Dannelly (Warren); sons, Bob Truitt (Jill) and Jim Truitt (Jeannie); eight grandchildren, Jeffrey Truitt, Keri Lynn Bethea, James Truitt, Lacey Ritchie, Jacob Truitt, Benjamin Truitt, Zachary Dannelly, MacKenzie Locklear; 18 great grandchildren, Evan Truitt, Sarah Truitt, John Matthew McMahan, Jake McMahan, Caleb Bethea, Samantha Bethea, Noah Bethea, Jonah Bethea, Ellie Bethea, Laura Dawn Truitt, Salin Truitt, Marlee Truitt, Liam Truitt, Riley Ritchie, Emma Ritchie, Ozzy Dannelly, Lucy Locklear, Hattie Locklear ; and one great great grandchild expected to arrive in October.

Mary's funeral service is 1:30pm Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Fern Creek Christian Church, 9419 Seatonville Road with private burial.  Visitation is also Saturday from 11am - 1:30pm at the church.
