Mary Lee Richardson, 78, died Tuesday, May 20, 2025.

She was born November 12, 1946, and was the daughter of William and Mary Edith Moster deGraffenreid.

Mary was as an administrative assistant at the Health Department for 15 years and then worked for BTM Engineering, where she spent another 38 years doing what she loved.  She had a long impactful career, where she is remembered as someone who would help all of those that she worked for and with, making lifelong friends that have been an extension of her family.

She was an active member of St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church and served as a Eucharistic Minister.

Mary was a kind soul that helped all that needed anything and volunteered for many charities and causes that were close to her heart. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Irvin Thomas (Tom) Richardson, on May 29, 2010.

She is survived by her son, Wayne Richardson (Peri); granddaughter, Jordan Scott (Tyler Polston); siblings, Beverly Pace, Cheryl Whitworth and William (Billy) deGraffenreid; many nieces and nephews who were very special to her; and her godchildren, Christopher and Megan Sapp, Carmen Noel and Caitlin Mims.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church, followed by the Funeral mass at 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 5505 Bardstown Road with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
