Mary Angela Hays(Angie), 77, of Louisville, Ky, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026.

She was born Mary Angela Davis on September 30,1948 to the late Fountain and Elizabeth (Logsdon) Davis.

Angie was a devoted wife and mother, valued team member at McDonalds, and a cherished lunch lady at St. Barnabas. She was Catholic by faith. She loved flowers and animals. Many birds, turtles, rabbits, mice and even a baby duck (at the expense of a broken right leg) have benefitted from her compassion.

She is survived by her husband, Richard(Dick) Hays, children, Sarah, Josh, and Michael Hays, sisters-in-law, Stacey Davis, Carolynn Cox, and Chrissy Seyfried and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her siblings Charlene Davis, Pat Davis and Sue Krakowski.

Her memorial visitation is 2-5pm Saturday May 16 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Rd. A prayer will be offered at 4:45pm.
